Dr Mavrelos is kind, empathetic and a great listener. My husband and I lost our baby at a quite advanced stage of pregnancy. I cannot thank Dr Mavrelos enough for the excellent care he provided during this difficult time - he is empathetic, caring and compassionate. He performed my ERPC surgery and made me feel comfortable by understanding my concerns and addressing them. He always took time to call me and explain different options and their pros and cons. Dr Mavrelos is a doctor who truly cares for his patients and I am very grateful to him!

Rania is fantastic, so caring and knowledgeable l have been struggling for years with my PCOS and the NHS hasn't been very receptive in helping me. Rania helped me a lot with my diet and lifestyle, suggesting changes that were sustainable but also fit in with my preferences. My periods are no regular and my hirsutism has reduced. 5/5 for me!

I have been suffering with endometriosis symptoms for over 10 years, after no luck from the NHS, I decided to seek help via my works private medical care. As I was seasoned with consults like this; I showed a detailed history of my illness, including a tracker/diary of my daily symptoms, details of painkillers administered by previous doctors and history of hospital admissions, I believed I’d soon be on the way to the diagnosis I’d been searching for. Disappointingly this didn’t happen. 2 years and approximately 12 appointments (and one discharge and readministration) later, I was still having to push for my diagnosis via Laparoscopy. If I hadn’t consistently requested (bordering on demanded) a laparoscopy, I believe I would still be in the same situation I was in 10+ years ago. At times I was made to feel like the pain I was experiencing wasn’t as bad as I made out, and it was all in my head and not a physical issue (like all the other Drs had made me feel). Eventually (after 10 years via NHS and 2 years privately) it was agreed that the investigative operation could go ahead. Miss Bagtharia was confident that nothing would be found but agreed to do it. Without going into too much detail regarding my diagnosis on here, I have now been diagnosed with severe endometriosis (stage 4). I was firstly given my diagnosis verbally, starting with how 'shocking' and 'unexpected' her findings were (along with more upsetting things). This was then followed up with a letter, that lacked detail and used inconclusive terms that lead me to have to once again push for clarification, leading to issues with my work illness notes, and also issues with further referrals via Bupa (that I sorted with no help from Miss Bagtharia). To summarise, I’ve had years of dealing with doctors that haven’t taken my pain seriously and haven’t wanted to explore my symptoms further. Miss Bagtharia unfortunately is another one of those doctors and I’m sad for other women like me that don’t have the privilege of pushing for further treatment. I would however like to thank her PA, Sarah, who has been a massive help and support throughout this process.
