I recently had a hip replacement under the care of Mr Shiraz. His skill as a surgeon had me walking pain free without the aid of a stick within 4 weeks. His friendly manner, attention to detail and willingness to explain made the entire process easy. I would recommend Mr Shiraz without reservation, I will certainly be using his services when the other hip needs doing!

I found Andrew a simply excellent Surgeon. He uses cutting edge technology with tailor made ankle prosthetics. He explains very clearly what is involved and is with you every step of your journey. The operation for an ankle replacement at the Wellington was seamless. I was out 2 days later, pain free. There was minimal swelling and 2 months later you can hardly notice the scar. Due to the precision of Andrew's surgery and detailed follow-up Recovery Plan I am looking to return to my profession within 11 weeks of the operation.

Mr. Lambert was totally professional in his explanations. He was very thorough in his examination of my shoulder and so so gentle in any manoeuvre to ascertain the source of my pain. He reviewed all the information presented to him and was able to exclude serious shoulder deficiencies. He was reassuring, kind and empathetic. A delightful and caring, sensible doctor. His endearing quality of humility in the face of his hugely powerful qualifications was a pleasure.

As a fellow medical doctor, I think there is no higher praise for colleague than to trust them with the care for one's mother. My mother was suffering De Quervain's tenosynovitis of her wrist, and needed an expedient steroid injection ... and Mr Gidwani came highly recommended via medical friends. I didn't think twice, somehow knowing he'd be right for my mother. Indeed, my mother adored Mr Gidwani ... his kindness and care, his swift diagnosis and on-the-spot treatment ... and she can't thank him enough for getting her wirst (and life!) back in action. I say, bless you, Sam!

Mr Atkinson communicates thoroughly everything I needed to know about my surgery and condition, pre admission and post surgery. He is straightforward and to the point when communicating important elements, a trait I like and respect. He is also respectful, charming, humorous and wonderful human being on top of being a cracking surgeon.

Mr Lee was welcoming to myself and my daughter who accompanied me. He took great pains to explain my scans to us and answered questions in a straightforward manner. He was reassuring and made me feel like a human being not a 'patient'.

During my stay at the Homerton Hospital, I found Mr Taneja amiable, open and reassuringly serious before and after the operation - humane and never less than professional. In the follow up consultation 7/8 weeks after the operation, he gave me as much time as I needed, patiently answering all my questions, responding to my concerns. He explained things clearly and gave expert advice as needed. He was warm and reassuring.

Calm, professional and reassuing at all times I didn't feel I could have been in better hands. Thanks
