Great at explaining everything before surgery and before discharge. Aftercare has been great and any concerns I have I can ask. Really great Doctor couldn’t have asked for more!

As a mother I was extremely worried at how negatively this procedure would affect my son because of his age. At 5 years old not quite old enough to understand yet, I worried the procedure would have had a very mentally deterimental affect on him. I needn't over worry because he was in the best of hand with Dr Sufi and his wife who have extensive experience and it really shone through. The after care was also very good, any worries Dr Sufi was on hand at all times with his prompt reply to concerns/worries we had. My son was fully healed in 2 weeks and he was back at school without trouble. Thank you

The reason I chose Dr Rama was that he worked at a top London NHS hospital, Kings College, as well as doing private work. When I first met him, I found him easy to talk to, informative and I could ask him anything. Straight away I felt confident that he was the right person to do this operation for me. Before you have the operation Dr. Rama put me in touch with a dietitian (Kate Walker). I had two meetings with Kate who gave me a pre-op diet to follow, a post-op diet and six weeks after the operation I could start eating normally again. Two weeks before I had the operation, I was given a pre-op. It was discovered that I had very high blood pressure. I made an appointment with my GP and was put on blood pressure tablets and the anesthetist was informed. By the time I had the operation my blood pressure came down to a safe level. I arrived at Blackheath hospital at 7:00am in the morning and Dr Rama came to see me and went through the procedure. I had the operation at around 11.00am. I started to arouse as soon as I came back to the ward but was very dozy, I slept most of the day. The following morning, I woke up at around 4:00am and with the help of a very nice nurse I got out of bed and went for a walk. To my surprise I felt fine and not in any pain. However, I did have about five little cuts on my stomach which have healed well. After two weeks I felt back to normal. I had the operation on the 6 July 2023 and weighed 16.11 stone. I now weigh 12 stone (15 May) and by the time a year is up I should have lost 6 stone. I feel amazing, I am no longer pre-diabetic and a paramedic at my GP’s surgery is looking into taking me off my blood pressure tablets as I’m now in the normal range. My asthma is much better too. Dr Rama was fantastic, he looked after me so well and I have no hesitation in recommending him. He gave me his mobile telephone number and I know I can contact him anytime, which is very reassuring. I’ve had two follow up appointments with him and was given a blood test to make sure everything was ok. I have not felt this well in a long time, just wish I had this procedure years ago. Thank-you Dr Rama, you have changed my life.

Mr Dixit successfully performed the required operation. He showed great skill in cholecystectomy and knowledge in related issues. Both pre and post-op care was also excellent. Mr Dixit ensured that all information was clearly explained and fully understood at each stage.

I found Mr Agrawal very professional, kind and informative. I felt in good hands throughout the whole procedure from the initial consultation through to the surgery and recovery. I was so pleased that my hernia operation was so successful, it is something I have been putting off for years.

I was recently under the care of Dr Tsironis while recovering from abdominal surgery. His visits each morning kept me informed of how I was doing, but it was at the follow up appointment once I had been discharged that he really took the time to explain my condition to me. I asked endless questions and he really helped me to get a grasp on what had happened to me by showing diagrams of the anatomy, explaining to me so that I could understand. He put me at ease and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.
