I thought that Dr Gulihar had a pleasant manner and took time to explain the options and make recommendations. After the X-rays he suggested a steroid injection in my right shoulder and I must day that the result was fantastic. The pain in my right shoulder has largely disappeared and the pain in my neck and left shoulder has greatly reduced and is now perfectly manageable. The criticism is that I was put on the spot to make a rushed decision on the treatment. It would have been sensible to let me go away with the options of treatment and be able to discuss with my family and then make a decision. Now I feel as though I was swayed away from going for the surgery as I wasn’t keen on it.
