Dr. Dalili was able to talk me through the procedure and best possible outcomes. I felt at ease and did not experience any painful or negative symptoms.

My experience with Dr. Scott has been great. As someone who used to always be nervous of going to the dentist I can now say that fear no longer exists. All checkups with Dr. Scott were thorough and everything well explained to me in terms I understood. I had Invisalign and have just finished treatment and am so glad I did it, I now feel much more confident smiling with my teeth.

Professor Brookes’s diagnosis of what my very unusual problem could be and explanation of what he intended to do about it, gave me full confidence in him, from the outset. He has a very sympathetic approach, which helps considerably. In the event, his diagnosis was correct- and his treatment of the issue has been successful. I am very pleased with the outcome.

I saw Mr Abdul Sultan for a pelvic organ prolapse on Tuesday 14th May. I am a 32 year old woman. 7 months post partum. My appointment with another doctor was cancelled at the last minute and I was moved to an appointment with Mr Abdul. My complaints are as follows: 1. He didn’t ask me questions on my background or my reasons for being here but instead made assumptions about my future plans. For example said surgery wouldn’t be an option because they don’t do that until my family is complete. Had he asked me he would have known I had finished my family. Equally said surgery wasn’t an option unless it bothers me every day, again, didn’t ask so didn’t know that it does. He just assumed! 2. He was rude and dismissive/belittling to a nurse in front of me who was only doing her job. 3. Finally he made a very inappropriate comment at the end of the appointment after he had inserted a vaginal pessary and said ‘now do you feel like a 16 year old girl again’ I left that appointment feeling very upset and quite shocked about my experience. I am certain that for any woman having an internal vaginal exam from a male doctor you have never met is a very vulnerable and uncomfortable experience (albeit a necessary one). The minimum expectation is that the doctor would do everything in his power to put you at ease during this experience. Not make you feel ignored or make inappropriate and frankly creepy comments.

The embolization procedure was a much preferred option for me than a more intrusive hysterectomy. It was quick, minimum discomfort and amazingly effective, in that the considerable reduction in my very heavy periods was virtually instant. I would go as far as to say it was life-changing and I have never looked back. The procedure not only saw me through until after the menopause, when my periods would stop anyway, but now 15 years down the line, still the fibroids remain ‘shrunk’ and not causing me any issues. I would recommend the procedure to anyone faced with multiple or large fibroids that have a considerable impact on your life and well-being. Dr Crowe could not have done more or been more accommodating.

Both the doctor and nurse Cora were excellent,very professional throughout.
