My experience on the last appointment was good. It has improved from past’s appointments were I was rushed and treated a bit harsh when they know I’m quite nervous about going to the dentist and my teeth are very sensitive. The nurse and the dentist were amazing! She was able to talk to me in Spanish and give advice about what to do with my decay. Chris, the dentist, didn’t hurt me in the process of checking nor fixing up my tooth. I really appreciate this kindness.

After my treatment, I made an appointment for my next visit. I was asked to pay a £10 deposit. I explained that I paid monthly for my treatment, I have been a patient for nearly forty years and that I had never missed an appointment. The receptionist insisted that the deposit was to discourage patients skipping appointments and would be deducted from the cost of my next treatment. This doesn’t make sense. My next treatment may not have any costs attached, since I am already paying on a monthly plan. Over the last few years my problem has been getting an appointment, not skipping them. I don’t remember getting any refunds during periods of non-treatment. If a policy like this is being introduced patients should surely be informed in advance. The girl in front of me was charged a deposit of £60, which I doubt she was expecting. I don’t even know now what my plan does or does not cover. I will be looking for a new dentist as soon as possible.

Firstly, they take on NHS patients, which is a big plus! Staff are all friendly and the dentist I saw, Chris Sarafiant, is efficient and open.
