About Benenden Hospital
Benenden Hospital has been caring for patients since 1907, having been opened to treat patients with Tuberculosis. The hospital has since then developed to provide a range of facilities and services to essentially care for and rehabilitate self-funding private patients and Benenden Health members.

Overall experience with the staff and hospital both very good

I think that it was unnecessary to be asked to attend at 7.00am when I was last on the morning list. I live one and a hair hours distance away. Otherwise everything was exceptional. The Surgeon, the anaesthetist, the nurses and all the staff were lovely and vert efficient.

I was given a private space for my wife and son. The surgeon and consultant anaesthetist explained the procedures. I underwent the surgery and was informed of the actions performed. I was offered the facility of staying overnight on the ward. I received very attentive care. I was concerned that my shoulder strap was not secure during the night and informed the nursing staff attending me. This strap was correctly positioned by a staff member during the morning prior to my discharge. I have been grateful for the care I was given. Post-:discharge, I was contacted at home, as promised, by staff on Benson Ward to verify how I had been.
