Dr Sancy Low, is a brilliant doctor.   I am very short sighted in both of my eyes, and to make matters worse I had cataract in both eyes.  The cataract was extremely worse in my left eyes,  I thought I was going to lose my eyesight.   When I meet with Dr Sancy Low she listened to my concerns, she could see how nervous and scared  I was about my whole eye health.    Dr Sancy said that she would look after me and she did exactly that.  Dr Sancy has changed my life for the good, my cataracts are now removed, I can now see clearly.   I was also given special lenses which were inserted in both of my eyes, these lenses has given me perfect vision.  For the first time in my life I don’t need to rely on wearing glasses to see.   

I am very grateful to of met Dr Sandy.  She is a wonderful and great doctor.  

Thank you Dr Sancy for giving me back my confidence.  I no longer need to hide behind my glasses anymore.  Whenever I speak to a person I feel great because I know they can see me and not my glasses.

Purpose The aim of this review was to collate current evidence wherein digitalisation, through the incorporation of video technology and artificial intelligence (AI), is being applied to the practice of surgery. Applications are vast, and the literature investigating the utility of surgical video and its synergy with AI has steadily increased over the last 2 decades. This type of technology is widespread in other industries, such as autonomy in transportation and manufacturing. Methods Articles were identified primarily using the PubMed and MEDLINE databases. The MeSH terms used were “surgical education”, “surgical video”, “video labelling”, “surgery”, “surgical workflow”, “telementoring”, “telemedicine”, “machine learning”, “deep learning” and “operating room”. Given the breadth of the subject and the scarcity of high-level data in certain areas, a narrative synthesis was selected over a meta-analysis or systematic review to allow for a focussed discussion of the topic. Results Three main themes were identified and analysed throughout this review, (1) the multifaceted utility of surgical video recording, (2) teleconferencing/telemedicine and (3) artificial intelligence in the operating room. Conclusions Evidence suggests the routine collection of intraoperative data will be beneficial in the advancement of surgery, by driving standardised, evidence-based surgical care and personalised training of future surgeons. However, many barriers stand in the way of widespread implementation, necessitating close collaboration between surgeons, data scientists, medicolegal personnel and hospital policy makers.

I arranged an appointment with Mr Niziol for a second opinion in relation to upcoming jaw surgery and to establish what my options would be, if any as prior to this, the only option I was offered was, for me, very difficult to accept. 
For the first time ever, I actually felt ‘normal’ and hopeful. Mr Niziol listened carefully, gave me options and fully explained the possible risks and how these risks could be managed. He was confident and I felt safe in his care due to his experience, knowledge and expertise.
So grateful to have met Mr Niziol and remaining hopeful that he, and his team, can help me in moving forward. Highly recommended to anyway who needs a maxillofacial surgeon and specifically jaw reconstruction following radiotherapy. His passion and knowledge in this area is incredible and very reassuring.
