It struck me as funny to end up having my treatment done via an HCA UK practice. I grew up in Nashville Tennessee and ran with and was a friend of Doctor Tommy Frist Sr, co-founder of HCA. I am a huge fan and supporter of the NHS and find it second to none. That said, my experience having my treatment performed by HCA UK at The Shard and across the street in their Guys facility was brilliant. If someone with prostate cancer such as mine wants to and can go the private route, I believe they will find HCA UK to match any place in the world.

Pleasant and efficient. Appointment began on time, the consultant was very clear in explaining the course of diagnostics and treatment, as well as their reasoning and logic behind it. They were receptive in answering my questions and provided clarity without obfuscating meaning behind technical language.
