I was here and at Wellington, and found both facilities to be of the highest professionalism. Thank you!

My experience was overwhelmingly positive; Mr. Gidwani has been immensely impressive. Whilst there were things that could have been improved in London Bridge Hospital pre-operation and during my overnight stay (e.g. cluttered corridors, hurried nurses, a strange anaesthetist; and grumpy receptionists at The Shard), I am completely satisfied that I received the very best care where it really mattered.

Generally the experience was good, only disappointment was with the staff at the Thames reception desk HCA Building. The desk was not busy when visiting the consultant for pre/post appointments, there appears to be lack of training in customer service. When visiting hospitals patients are already nervous and therefore friendly caring helpful staff are required. I approached the desk and had to wait for them to complete they conversation of the event of their evening before one of them turned to me, did not say hello or anything just looked at me, made me feel uncomfortable so I started to confirm my reasons for being there. Was handed a clipboard and asked to complete the form, then wait. The female receptionist was very untidy, I would have expected some sort of dress code for the frontline. Being a private hospital my expectations and experience have always been very good but not on the last event. post op visit was more or less the same. The surgical staff were excellent, made me feel comfortable and at ease- kudos to them.
