Surgeon and assisting staff were friendly but also very reassuring and professional

Cataract surgery. Very well looked after by knowledgeable and friendly staff who explained clearly what was going to happen so that when I went into surgery nothing was unexpected. I was impressed at the care taken in sanitising and re-sanitising at every stage during pre-op, including the chair I was sitting on.

My experience when having my cataract surgery at Newmedica was very positive. From my arrival I felt that everyone there was dedicated to making my surgery as stress free as possible. Hanna, who had been appointed to be with me throughout the operation and was responsible for preparing my eye prior to surgery carried out her duties extremely professionally and was also the person that advised me on post operative care. The surgery was carried out in a bright, modern theatre with a very comfortable reclining chair/bed by an extremely skilled surgeon. The surgeon, Mr Wride and his surgical team made me feel very relaxed and confident. I am very thrilled with the result of the surgery, everything is much clearer through my treated eye and I am looking forward to having the cataracts in my other eye removed. Thank you
