My stay at the priory was an incredibly positive one. It’s tough but the like skills gained are invaluable going forwards. The therapy team are incredibly strong, relatable and highly skilled. Every member of the staff from admissions and reception are incredibly helpful and the ward staff are simply amazing. I cannot speak too highly about the Priory staff. The food could have been a little better if I have one criticism.

I started my session in a really low place, really struggling and not able to conduct my daily activities. I have now been able to do activities I did before, and stretches myself to try new things to elevate my mood. I am a much more positive person, and being able to share my experiences with Georgina massively helped this. I feel as though she genuinely listens to me and is focused on how to get me to a better place. She was very thorough and made me feel comfortable to speak with, I felt as though I could say anything. Georgina continues to have a strong positive influence on me and has provided me with many tools to help me on my journey. The reception staff are lovely, remembering my name and welcoming with a smile. The psychiatrist Dr Cheesman is also very easy to speak to. I was worried about speaking with a man about my issues but he made me feel comfortable.

Everything has been excellent friendly. My thanks to all staff for there kindness and care.

I have been given the tools to change my life and start again. It’s now up to me but the care and therapy has been first class

Hi Georgina, Thank you for your help over the past year. I was really struggling to feel right within myself for quite a while prior to attending and felt completely helpless. Until only as recently as a few months ago I didn’t think that there would be any light at the end of the tunnel for me in all honesty though was trying my best with the coping mechanisms. I enjoyed the grey thinking I learnt from Georgina and tried to make sure I was implementing it in my time away from her and slowly began to. Eventually we came to the conclusion that a lot of my anxiety was fixated around hypochondria and my health generally and I had become afraid to seek help or reassurance through GP’s due to a fear of hearing the worst and catastrophising . Finally Georgina convinced me to face my problems head on, largely driven in part by the impending birth of my first daughter and a strength required to overcome my demons in order to support and focus on her. I finally plucked up the courage and was given a clean bill of health and felt a huge sense of relief and weight remove itself from me that I hadn’t felt for a couple of years. The greatest benefit I learnt from Georgina was BREATH IS LIFE I think it was great how Georgina looked for ways to try and help me cope. She was just such a kind and important soul and had an impact on me in so many ways even down to my social media usage and the way I digest news which had also been a source of anxiety to me. I can honestly say that Georgina is one of the best people I have ever met and her zest for life and kindness is so inspiring and in some ways feeling better has been bittersweet because I really miss her. Thanks for all your help Georgina and I really wish you every success. You deserve it. All the best,

Staff are very friendly, supportive and helpful. Facilities are great and are very clean and well kept.

As a parent to a patient here our main experience was with the family therapist. Oliver Bowie was a thoughtful and sensitive therapist who greatly enhanced the difficult communication between patient and family and contributed greatly to the chances of successful recovery.

Hayes hospital is lovely. Everyone is so attentive, thoughtful and caring. I feel really well looked after, my mental health and my life has undoubtably changed for the better. I am so thankful for my DBT therapy group, and all of the staff associated with it. Thank you so much!
