Mr Calum Honeyman

Calum Honeyman is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Head & Neck Surgeon at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. His NHS practice encompasses head and neck reconstruction, complex skin cancer surgery, limb reconstruction, and general plastic surgery, alongside emergency trauma and burn care.

He completed his medical training at the Universities of St Andrews and Manchester, graduating in 2012, before undertaking early surgical training in the Bristol region. He went on to complete six years of specialist plastic surgery training in Scotland, where he developed advanced expertise in head and neck reconstruction and microsurgery. He has been on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery since 2023, following successful completion of the FRCS (Plast) examination in 2022.

Alongside his clinical training, Mr Honeyman pursued a dedicated research year at the University of Oxford, focusing on tissue transplantation. He further enhanced his surgical skills in Helsinki, learning advanced reconstructive techniques, and completed the prestigious Training Interface Fellowship at Queen Victoria Hospital, where he gained multidisciplinary experience across plastic, ENT, and maxillofacial surgery, particularly in the holistic management of head and neck cancer.

In addition to his reconstructive work, Mr Honeyman offers selected cosmetic procedures in private practice, with particular interests in facial aesthetics, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), and body contouring. His detailed knowledge of facial anatomy and reconstructive principles underpins a precise and refined approach to aesthetic surgery.

He is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
