I qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College in 1997 with degrees in medicine and psychology. After house and senior house officer jobs in east London, Bath and Southend, I gained membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2000.
I undertook my MD thesis at the Royal Brompton Hospital in cardiac MRI, which was awarded in 2006. I did my cardiology registrar training in Taunton and Bristol, and a fellowship in Adelaide.
I was appointed consultant cardiologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2009, and visiting consultant to the Royal Surrey County Hopsital. I was made Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2013. I am a member of the British Sociery of Echocardioraphy departmental acceditation committee and have been cardiology clinical lead at the Royal Berkshire Hospital since 2020.
I am experienced in all areas of general cardiology with a particular interest in cardiac imaging (echocardiography and cardiac MRI). Outside of work I enjoy travel, eating out and spending time with my family.
