Professor Hasan Tahir

Prof Hasan Tahir is a Consultant Physician in Rhematology, currently based at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, Barnet Hospital, in London and he works at the private practises Holly House Hospital, in East London, Harley Street, in Central London and Clementine Churchill Hospital, in West London. His areas of interest are gout, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, SLE (lupus), sports medicine, back pain, vasculitis, soft tissue rheumatism and PRP Injections.

Prof Tahir graduated from University of London in 1993 with a First Class Honours Bachelor's degree and from Kings College School of Medicine in 1996 with a Bachelor or Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He attained a Fellowship of The Royal College of Physicians in 2009, completed a master's degree at Bath University in 2012 and attained a Membership of The Faculty of Sport and Exercise Membership in 2011. His many years of education and clinical experience make him an expert in his field.

Prof Tahir has memberships of Royal College of Physicians, Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine, ASAS, Brit SpA and British Society of Rheumatology. He is a Chief /Principal Investigator for a large number of clinical trials and is an Honorary Clinical Professor in the Division of Medicine at University College London. He has an interest in Sport Science outside of his academic work. He utilises his expertise to present on the television Live Health Show and undertakes humanitariun / charity work.
