Extremely reassuring after a slightly complicated diabetic pregnancy. Kept us very calm after NHS rang various alarm bells unnecessarily. Alway available and very flexible to suit our changing circumstances when my waters broke unexpectedly at 33 weeks. Keith is very personable and stepped in to liaise with other professionals on our behalf at all times and to arrange the correct level of care and lodging at The Portland. If we were to reconsider a third child we would go straight to Keith.

Dr. Duncan made our pregnancy journey joyful and worry free. My husband Eliot and I were referred to him and the level of care we received was nothing short of remarkable. He is personable, comforting and always addressed our questions and concerns with patience and clarity…and some much needed humor when warranted. We felt completely at ease and fully trusted his recommendations. We highly recommend Dr. Duncan to be a part of your birth journey.

Dr. Duncan looked after me during my third pregnancy and delivered our son via elective cesarean. This was my first elective cesarean after having two previous unplanned cesareans. I was hoping for a more positive experience than the first two, and I got exactly that. I was somewhat nervous about the birth and due to my previous experiences, found it hard to believe that things would go as planned. He discussed with me the possible complications and reassured me that he would be the best person to have performing my cesarean should any of those situations arise. He made me feel very comfortable with his expertise and experience. I'm thrilled to say that the birth went very well! The scar from my cesarean healed exceptionally well. After the first week I felt the scar looked three weeks healed. I'm currently six weeks post cesarean and feeling fantastic. I had absolutely no concerns following the birth or during the healing process because Dr. Duncan did such a wonderful job! I previously birthed my first child in the US and my second with the NHS. I can say that this experience with Dr. Duncan at The Portland Hospital far surpasses them all! My husband and I have long bet set on having three children, but our positive experience made us immediately question if we should have a fourth! I can't say enough about what a positive experience it was.

I had a planned C section with Dr Duncan. Everything went smoothly and stress free. Highly professional, he explained the procedure well and did a nice incision that I believe will leave me a small and neat scar.

Keith has delivered both of our children now and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Mother and baby are always Keiths priority and we always feel in safe hands

Keith is the best of the best and we feel so lucky to have had his care for the births of both our children - care from around 12 weeks all the way to the delivery itself. Keith is always there for you, a super friendly and reassuring presence and of course an absolute expert in his field. Recovery from both c-sections has been superb and this is thanks to Keith’s expertise & skills in theatre & post recovery. A huge thank you to Keith and also Colette on his team - who is an Angel and so lovely.

Very happy with the care received from Dr Duncan. He was always available over the phone which was very reassuring. He was very professional and his calm and confident approach inspired so much confidence and was reassuring to both me and my husband on the day of the delivery, especially as my baby decided to come earlier and we were very worried and unprepared. My experience of the actual c section surgery is very positive too due to Dr Duncan, he was also very attentive to check on my recovery and went out of his way to help with some administrative issues for our baby which was very kind. Overall very happy with the scar as well which is healing well.

Dr Duncan was recommended by a good friend of mine, and I started under his care in December when I was 4 months pregnant. We had a really positive experience throughout: consistently calm, reassuring and (as needed) humorous, he always made himself available and ensured that I went into my c-section feeling totally safe and confident. The procedure itself went so smoothly, with Dr Duncan and the team at the Portland making it a truly memorable and enjoyable experience for us both. 10 days postpartum and I’ve no doubt that it’s Dr Duncan’s surgical skills that have enabled me to make such a speedy recovery - like others, I’m delighted with the neatness of my incision too. Keith Duncan delivered all three of my children and is the most incredible obstetrician. I had complications with my third delivery and he literally saved my life. I would highly recommend Dr Duncan as an obstetrician. He is always available whenever i had any concerns - particularly out of office hours and was incredibly reassuring in a high risk pregnancy situation.
