About Dr Kishor Tewary
Dr Kishor Tewary is a consultant paediatrician specialising in bladder and kidney problems, as well as general paediatrics. He has over 3 decades of experience, working in India and in the UK.
Having worked at senior positions abroad and in the UK, he is privileged with a varied experience around children's medical issues. His further training includes centres such as Bristol Children's Hospital and University Hospital Cardiff, during which time he developed a special interest in bladder and kidney problems such as bed wetting, urinary reflux, hydronephrosis and UTI's. After working for the NHS for over two decades, he now provides his services only for the private sector. He was appointed 'Honorary Senior Lecturer' at Birmingham University Medical School, and 'MIMS assessor' at Aston University Medical School.
Dr Tewary has an interest in academic research, and has presented at many national and international conferences. He has contributed to peer reviewed journals through his articles and case reports. He has also written an editorial on 'Prevention of UTI' for World Journal of Methodology in 2015, and co-authored a book chapter on 'PFAPA, and its association with facial swelling'.
Dr Tewary has received awards for his exceptional contribution to the NHS and has also served as 'Associate Professor' at St George's University School of Medicine , Grenada till 2015.
He has featured on ITV central, Top Doctors and also received an award for 'Lifetime Achievement' from International Scientist Awards, VDgood Technology, India.

We cannot speak highly enough of Dr Tewary. He saw us at BMI Edgbaston at short notice and from the outset was professional, friendly and understanding of the issues surrounding our 20 month old. Dr Tewary had a great rapport with our son and took the time to listen to our concerns and answered all our Qs. He provided exactly what we wanted, which was a thorough examination, a detailed discussion about the issues that had been raised and a full and considered opinion as to what he believed the outcome to be.
