I have been under the care Dr Ahsan for 18 months. I had been having awful symptoms - palpitations, lightheadedness, sweating etc and was a very anxious patient. From the very first appointment, Dr Syed listened, was patient, kind and caring. He explained what he thought the problem could be and was very thorough, ordering various tests - 7 day monitor, ecg, echo and an MRI scan which revealed that I had pericarditis. Not knowing what this condition was,Dr Ahsan explained what needed to be done and how it could be treated and was extremely reassuring. I have never felt rushed during any of my consultations and Dr Ahsan answers any questions in a very kind and caring manner. He monitored my condition with follow up MRI scans to ensure everything was improving as it should be. Dr Ahsan is very much a people person and patient focussed. He is approachable and “human” and gets to know his patients really putting you at ease. I could not recommend Dr Ahsan highly enough. I am by nature an anxious person and think my heart condition has made me the more so, however, Dr Ahsan is very kind and compassionate and set me at ease straightaway.
