Dr Ghura was an excellent consultant - put me at ease and dealt with my skin cancer quickly and efficiently - had two follow up appointments Wonderful service

I have had two facial BCC's removed by Dr Ghura. As expected, the wound and stitches (approx 2 ins) immediately after the operations looked a bit of a mess ! However, after following the aftercare instructions given by him and his team there is now virtually no scarring - indicationg the quality of his stitching. I also had some underlying skin damage and Dr Ghura recommended tratment using a course of Aldara cream. This took about a month and the cream was quite aggresive leading to red patches and scabbing at damaged areas on my face. I was worried that these would not heal properly but after a couple of weeks the scabbing fell off and my face is now clear and smooth. I had follow up appointments with Dr Ghura to monotor progress and get reassurance.

Very pleasant and welcoming manne. Extremely pleased with the result of the removal of my first facial BCC by MOHS surgery. Cannot see any scars.

Very professional and reassuring throughout the whole process with a quiet experience based confidence from that I found both calming and relaxing. The earlier consultations prepared me well for the surgery and I found the follow up appointments helpful particularly for scar management and any concerns I had for future treatments that may be required.

Dr Ghura has been treating me for almost 18th months for a series of BCCs, some minor, and others more signicant on my head and nose. From the start he has been most reassuring giving me clear explanations at every stage, carrying out procedures , which were painless and reviewing treatment and progress at regular intervals. His care and concern have been exemplary

I can’t praise Dr Ghura highly enough. I had a nasty looking BCC under my eye and was understandably anxious about removal. I needn’t have been. Dr Ghura explained the procedure at every step and put me completely at my ease. I was left with a daunting looking T-scar but not quite three months on, it is barely visible. He is the best! This was my first meeting and appointment with Dr. Ghura. He immediately put me at ease and clearly and reassuringly explained how he would treat my ailment. Whilst in the operating theatre (I was awake, a local anaesthetic) he was obviously aware of my anxiety and fully involved me in what was happening. HIs friendly, professional manner was evident with the rest of the staff in the operating theatre. Again my recent follow up appointment was conducted with friendliness and professionalism. Dr Ghura is extremely patient, calm and reassuring. He explained every step of the procedure so I felt happy and confident before taking the next steps. During the actual procedure he made sure I was comfortable and informed about what was happening and answered my questions.
