Dr. Hollie Shannon is a highly experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist based in London, specialising in the treatment of eating disorders, particularly in children and adolescents aged 11 to 17 years.

With a background in Clinical Psychology, Hollie has dedicated the past decade to working in both Australia and the UK, gaining extensive experience in outpatient and day patient eating disorder services for both adults and young people, as well as in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services). She has transitioned from working in the NHS to taking on senior roles in the private healthcare sector.

Hollie has a keen interest in prevention and early intervention for eating disorders and finds great satisfaction in working with young people and their families. She is also highly skilled in clinical supervision, having provided guidance and training to psychologists, dietitians, and exercise physiologists working in the field of eating disorders. Additionally, she has served as a guest lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students at universities in Australia.

In her therapeutic practice, Hollie employs a range of therapy approaches, including family-based treatments, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA). Furthermore, her qualifications as a yoga teacher allow her to integrate this holistic practice into her clinical work, providing additional support to her clients.

Hollie is registered with both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
