Words cannot express how grateful I am for Dr. Ahmed. I went to see him with a suspected branchial cleft cyst, however whilst investigating the cyst he also discovered a benign tumour of the parotid salivary gland. For years I assumed the tumour was simply my cheek bone and therefore did not think much of it. Other ENT specialists did not even spot it, but within 15 minutes of seeing Dr. Ahmed he noticed it clearly. In my case, he went truly above and beyond. It was a very complex 7 hour operation, where he removed both the cyst and the tumour in one go. Him and his team (One Welbeck and The London Clinic) did such a fantastic job. I have recovered fully and have no lasting damage. Not only is Dr. Ahmed a great surgeon but he is also incredibly personable and easy to talk to. Very clear explanation throughout treatments. Positive but honest and realistic survey of possible outcomes at time of initial consultation. Use of understandable language. Extremely thorough process and review of symptoms and following tests and scans. Excellent manner with patient and installed a feeling in patient that I could not have been in better hands.
