Dr. Jonathan Kentley

Dr. Jonathan Kentley is a Consultant Dermatologist with specialised expertise in the use of imaging and artificial intelligence (AI) for the early and accurate diagnosis of skin cancer, as well as in cosmetic dermatology.

His clinical experience covers all aspects of general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology; and he trained in tertiary-level clinics in the management of acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, male genital skin disorders, and LGBTQ+ health. Dr Kentley has also received extensive training in injectables and lasers from leading dermatologists in the UK and USA. He currently holds an NHS consultant post at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where he sees patients with a wide range of skin conditions and skin cancers.

Dr. Kentley’s journey in dermatology includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where he focused on the integration of AI into dermatological practice. His work has earned international recognition, with numerous presentations and publications in leading scientific journals.

In his professional roles, Dr. Kentley sits on the Executive Committee of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group and has completed both mentorship and preceptorship programs with the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He also acts as a spokesperson for several charities including the British Skin Foundation and the Melanoma Research Alliance.

Dr. Kentley earned his medical degree with distinction from Barts and the London School of Medicine and additional educational achievements include a BSc in Pharmacology from King's College London, an MSc in Clinical Drug Development from University College London, and a Research Doctorate from Imperial College London. Dr. Kentley is an active member of several British and European Professional Societies and an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
