Kate Shakeshaft is a dedicated Specialist Menopause Nurse with a wealth of experience. Her nursing career began when she qualified as an RGN (Registered General Nurse) in 1990, and for the past 30 years, she has predominantly worked in the field of women's health. Kate holds the title of Nurse Prescriber and is a valued Member of the British Menopause Society and the International Menopause Society. Additionally, she is recognised as a Diplomat of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH) and is well-versed in fitting all contraceptive methods.

Throughout her career, Kate has been driven by the realisation that women's health has not always received the attention and priority it deserves. Over the last decade, she has been working in General Practice, establishing clinics that offer women access to contraception and evidence-based menopause care. Kate's passion lies in ensuring that women are provided with the opportunity, time, and support needed to make informed decisions regarding their menopause and overall well-being.
