About Dr. Kirsty Schmidt
Dr Kirsty Schmidt is an experienced GP who has worked extensively in the local area at a number of GP practices since 2009, as well as for the extended hours service. She remains involved in teaching allied healthcare professionals in training and sitting on the Local Medical Committee means she can stay up to date with local and national GP issues.
She graduated from The University of Leicester in 2004 and went on to work in Warwick for a year before moving to Surrey where she worked in Paediatrics for several years before completing her GP training at Kingston Hospital. During this time she gained experience in medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as working at the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher.
Dr Schmidt enjoys caring for patients of all ages and getting to know all members of the family to provide them with holistic care.
She has a particular interest in paediatrics, especially paediatric allergy.

Dr Schmidt performed my well Woman check. She was very knowledgeable and reassuring. i have previously found some Drs quick to dismiss women’s health concerns but Dr Schmidt was thorough and responsive.
My visit was excellent. Dr Schmidt listened very carefully and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Schmidt allowed me to ask a lot of questions and made sure they were answered. She carefully explained various treatments and made sure that I left the doctor’s office feeling confident with my diagnosis and treatment.
Dr Schmidt was very kind and patient during the consultation. She followed up with my situation after a few days.
I met with Dr Schmidt. for the first time recently and from the first moment felt confident and relaxed and was assured that I was receiving the best possible care and advice, Dr Schmidt. is not only a very knowledgeable and experienced clinician, she really listens and gives time and consideration to all aspects of health care. She is a remarkable doctor who genuinely cares for her patients and has followed up with phone calls and messages. I could not recommend her highly enough
