Mr Majeed Shakokani

Mr. Majeed Shakokani is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. He is dedicated to providing a highly personalised service, integrating advanced technologies and evidence-based medicine to deliver optimal patient care.

Mr. Shakokani offers consultations for all major insurers, self-pay patients, and selected NHS clinics, serving individuals in Suffolk, Norfolk, and Cambridge who require orthopaedic surgery. His areas of expertise include total hip and knee replacement, revision hip surgery, and managing prosthetic joint infections. Additionally, he handles emergency trauma surgery and periprosthetic fractures within his trauma practice.

He completed his specialist orthopaedic training through the Cambridge rotation and furthered his expertise with a prestigious fellowship at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. This fellowship exposed him to high-volume complex revision surgeries, including custom and 3D printed implants. Mr. Shakokani also enhanced his training through visits to various renowned centres in the UK and Europe, such as the Endo Klinik in Germany.

Beyond his clinical practice, Mr. Shakokani is involved in academic research.
