You and your team saw me a few weeks ago and I just wanted to write to you all to thank you so much for being courteous, gentle and considerate. I was extremely impressed with the lovely way that I was treated by everyone in the department. Everyone was pleasant and treated me with great sensitivity. Such an experience can be daunting, undignified and unpleasant for a patient but you took all the time, care and respect and I would like to please pass on to the staff that I am most grateful that this was not the case when I came, rather I felt very well cared for. Whilst everything happened punctually, I was never made to feel rushed and I felt that I was examined and considered very carefully.

Thank you so much for the kindness that you showed and gave me while I was a patient of yours. I hope the next time we meet, it will be good news! Your kindness and empathy towards me was really appreciated. Kind regards and thanks again.

I just wanted to thank you for your help and support through my cancer diagnosis. For opening the colonoscopy clinic when it was closed, for support when I received my results and for referring me to Queen Charlotte’s Hospital. I appreciate it so much. I am recovering well after my hysterectomy and am now cancer free, which is all thanks to the skills of the surgeons and consultants like you.

She was extremely pleasant and reassuring as I was quite nervous during the check up.
