Excellent in all areas

I went to Dr. Kasem in the most difficult time in my life. The diagnosis of breast cancer came as a shock, but also in parallel came the certainty that I was in the best care that I could possibly have. I had a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. Of course the number one priority was the removal of the cancer, but the idea of immediate reconstruction was scary to me as the idea of no reconstruction at all. I received enough information, technically and visually (through pictures from other reconstructions) that gave me the security to make my own decision. The natural look was important too, and I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Kasem’s knowledge and transparency during the whole treatment gave me the confidence that I much needed. He always made sure that I was updated with the details of my treatment and listened my questions/opinions about it, such approach made me feel respected as a patient, and it was extremely helpful to walk me through the cancer journey. I cannot recommend Dr. Kasem’s care highly enough. He is a knowledgeable doctor and an incredible human being that cares about your mental health during such difficult process.
