Mr Malik quickly identified the cause of a long standing problem and explained the options available to me. Treatment was then arranged within a few days of our first meeting.

Mr Malik explained all benefits and risks in order for me to decide on my left hip replacement or otherwise. It is 6 weeks after the surgery, my mobility is brilliant and all arthritic pain is gone. I have followed all his, and the physios instructions and cannot believe how well the whole process has helped me in such a short time. Simply brilliant Surgeon.

Having seen other orthopaedic surgeons and undergone surgey previously on the same issue, seeing Mr Malik felt like the first actual 'Consultant' appointment. For clarity, I wanted to see Mr Malik due to his cited specialities of assisting younger sportspeople back to participation. We discussed options, potential routes, risks and benefits to each before settling upon a choice. Mr Malik was thorough and open in the conversations and I felt listened to throughout. The surgery was a success, and having gone from a place of very little hope in making a good recovery to the knee problems, I have ended up with the potential of returning to a life of activity. This wasn't seen as an option previously, and I can only thank Mr Malik for his time, input and patience in working with me.

With some trepidation I limped into my first appointment with Mr Malik he greeted me listened to my reason for seeing him and then gave me the news I needed a full knee replacement, However, I was too heavy and needed to lose weight. So with encouragement from Mr Malik I lost twenty three kilos in five month’s and was admitted into Saxon Clinic for the operation. On being wheeled into the operating area having had an epidural I heard Living on a prayer by Bon Jovi being played ,one of my favourite tracks and I now understand one of Mr Maliks. Post op he visited me and assured me all had gone well and did I have any questions . At all appointments he has been interested in helping me improve my ability to walk without pain. Personally I would recommend Mr Malik for his caring attitude, professionalism, skill and ability to make one feel confident all would be well.
