About Mr Clive Aldrich
Mr Clive Aldrich is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at the Three Shires Hospital, Woodlands Hospital and Northampton General Hospital, where he has worked since 1999. He completed his undergraduate training in Wessex, followed by specialist training at St George's and University College Teaching Hospitals and Oxford University. He provides a broad range of services in general gynaecology and ultrasound alongside his specialist interest in surgical urogynaecology. He has also received advanced training in obstetric ultrasound and maternal and fetal medicine.
Mr Aldrich is actively involved in research and teaching. He is a tutor for the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and is on the academic school board for the Medical School at Leicester University. He is also an honorary consultant at the John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford and has published medical texts for both scientists and the public.

I have been under Mr Aldrich for around 18 months and would highly recommend him. He is very professional and thorough to a high standard. He listens and gives straight forward answers and recommendations for treatment and recovery afterwards. I’ve had great care and treatment and kept fully informed throughout my procedures. Recovery has been very good. His secretary is excellent, keeping me up to date with appts and answering questions, even out of hours!

I booked an appointment with Dr Aldrich as I felt my GP wasn't acknowledging my concerns or willing to investigate further. Dr Aldrich was professional, empathetic and straight to the point setting out a clear plan for me to get further answers. I would recommend him to anyone if they want answers without the wait times and obstacles of nhs referrals

Mr Aldrich was brilliant as always. He took the time to understand my history, he liaised with my ivf clinic, explained everything thoroughly to me and ensured that I had everything I needed to aid my record . He also advised on when I should return to work and what I should and shouldn’t do. Between appointments when I have not been unwell he has taken the time out even when he has finished clinic for the day to see me. Mr Aldrich is compassionate and a very caring consultant and I’m very fortunate that he was available to support me as I have had a terrible experience at the gynae services at Northampton generally hospital - with Mr Aldrich I felt listened and heard and not dismissed. In addition to this, Mr Aldrich’ secretary is excellent she is thorough and ensure that everything is organised and arranged promptly. Her communication is excellent.
