Mr Houlihan-Burne qualified in Medicine from Imperial College Medical School in 1995. Following this, he undertook his postgraduate medical training in London and his fellowship training covering Knee and Sports Injury Surgery at the Jonathan Webb Clinic, Bristol and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

I have found David to be efficient, highly knowledgable, caring and professional. I have just had my second TKR (sadly at 52) having waited four years since the last one. There would have been no other surgeon I would have trusted to carry out this operation. In fact last year my friend (Dr Clive Swainsbury) had both knees partially replaced by Mr HB on the back of my recommendation. Luckily I only have the two! But I wish Mr HB all the best for the future, and thank him for his skill and care over the last few years.
