I was operated for my right knee replacement by Dr. Atkinson in 2015 successfully.Then i started having pain on my left knee..Dr. Atkinson has been monitoring every 6 months and i have been given injection on his advise from time to time.I will have to go for this knee replacement at some point of time,and i am keen to get it done by only Dr. Atkinson as my previous surgery and he monitors it after the surgery very well.

I first saw henry in 2021 after emergency tibial plateau surgery to correct catastrophic damage to my knee caused by a high speed cycling accident. I was in a mess with the knee and associated complications including; fractured vertebrae, venous congestion, PE and nerve damage. From the outset henry took ownership of my general care and this was a huge relief. I was struggling to see a positive future but his explanations of scenarios, timescales and treatment options and his positive nature and encouragement helped me to understand things in a very clear way. After every consultation his reports were comprehensive, informative and very well structured. I always felt Henry took the time to listen, and to answer the many questions I had in a way that was never patronising, but was always clear, thoughtful and collaborative. Henry is clearly an outstanding surgeon but more than this he cares about his patients and their welfare. Henry supported me brilliantly with the completion of insurance documents and his support and encouragement for my recovery was constant. perhaps unlike some others patients I found the technical aspects of my case fascinating, looking at 3D scans of my knee on screen and asking questions that Henry was always happy to answer. I will be forever grateful for the skill, support and encouragement that particularly Henry, and also his team, showed me throughout my recovery. I can't recommend Henry highly enough, brilliant at what he does and a very nice man.

Amazing Doctor!

Mr Atkinson is an excellent surgeon with a very high standard of care. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and is meticulous with his procedures. He is an all around pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend him.

Mr Atkinson is not only a doctor he is a gentleman makes you feel very relaxed and confident in what he says and he does a brilliant job I can get up in the morning with no pain and can walk more and more each day thank you Mr Atkinson for my life back

Henry is great

Mr Atkinson has a lovely cheerful personality and gives you his whole attention when you you are being seen by him. He is very careful to explain what treatment he proposes and then then follows up after the operation to ensure all is going well.
