Mr Jonas Osher is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specialising in surgery of the mouth, face, jaws and neck. He is based at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where he is the clinical lead and he also sees patients privately at The London Bridge Hospital and The Shard.
Mr Osher has degrees in both medicine and dentistry and was awarded a distinction by the University of London. He trained in general surgery, plastic surgery and ear, nose and throat surgery, before completing higher surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in London. In 2014, he was awarded Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons.
He has also completed a number of advanced surgical fellowships in cosmetic facial plastic surgery and facial trauma in leading European centres. He has published a number of journal papers and book chapters in his specialist area.
Mr Osher is passionate about surgery of the face and in particular solving his patient's jaw joint disorders and correcting misshapen jaws. His excellent surgical results are life changing for his patients.
When not working Mr Osher is a keen sportsman competeing in running events and skiing in the winter. He lives in London with his wife and 3 young children.

Mr Osher has a great approach to surgery. I felt extremely comfortable under his care and felt that he was extremely knowledgeable in what he was doing.

Mr Osher was extremely professional, with a friendly manner which immediately put me at ease and inspired confidence. He gave a clear explanation of the condition, treatment options and potential outcomes, including an estimate of the overall costs with a breakdown on which to base a considered decision. He allowed me all the time I needed to ensure I was comfortable with the decision I reached. I was able to influence the timing of my treatment which was completed to a standard far beyond my expectations. His handywork is amazing! His aftercare has been superb. I can highly recommend Mr Osher and will definitely come back to him in the future should the need arise.
