1st class treatment in all aspects

My Big toe joint had been very painful for a very long time and for many years I had been walking on the side of my foot and therefore this was now affecting my ankle joint and knee. Mr Klinke was very thorough with his examination and really listened to me, which is unusual in some consultants. After xrays, scan s etc. it was decided that the big toe had to be fused. This was all arranged as a day patient and undertaken 3 weeks later in a very good clinic. The operation was very successful and although you have to be off the foot for a number of weeks it is definitely worth it. Follow up appointments were also very thorough and personal care was given by Mr Klinke. I now have no pain at all and learning how to walk properly again. I just need to sort my ankle out and will be seeing Mr Klinke again about this. I would definitely recommend Mr Klinke

Thorough and clear with excellent bedside manner

Mr Klinke was superb from start to finish! I had previously had a failed surgery from another hospital. He immediately identified my problems and explained everything to me very clearly. He arranged to carry out surgery which was very successful and really quite pain free! His bedside manner was fantastic and his after care too. I could not have asked for a better surgeon, he thoroughly exceeded all expectation. I would highly recommend him.

Martin Klinke throughly examined my bunion on right foot . Had me walk around and noticed my hamstrings were extremely tight also . The procedure was thoroughly explained to me and what to expect before I booked the procedure . After the operation he came to see me and how I was coping with the after surgery and the following morning before I was discharged . After care for my foot explained in detail . I had your surgery in June . I followed his instructions on what I could and couldn’t do . I also did the physio therapy which will help sped up your progress to walking as normal . I had an excellent experience using Mr Klinke. To start with his PA, Gay Munn, is extremely efficient. I was abroad when I ruptured my achilles so getting seen quickly on my return to the UK was paramount. His communication around the options available to me was clear, the route to surgery unproblematic, the surgery and after care excellent. In short, everything went as smoothly as I could have hoped for. Very professional. The only thing I haven't liked is using the 'egress secure e mail service' which seems unnecessary and over complicated.
