Professor Plaha is an incredibly rare human being. Within 24 hours of my MRI scan being sent to him, he took responsibility for my care. The subsequent week, he met with me and guided me through my condition with a clear prognosis and a plan for treatment. He referred me onwards to other neurologists who were able to adapt my medication accordingly to ensure pre-operative stability. Along with his expert team, he operated to resect my tumour in a highly sensitive location with precision and success. He followed up after surgery with histology results and I have recently met with him at GenesisCare in Oxford, which promptly took place after my 3 month post operative MRI scan. In clinic, and as always - he exuded true warmth, humility, professionalism and integrity. He is a true specialist in his field and I am gracious to be under his care. Where anyone is looking for a true expert in his field in difficult and challenging circumstances, you must go no further.

A Life-Saving Hero in a White Coat: Prof Plaha Words can hardly express the depth of our gratitude to Prof Plaha who performed life-saving brain surgery on my mum after she was diagnosed with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) that had spread to her brain. From the very first consultation, Prof Plaha displayed not only world-class expertise but also genuine compassion, patience, and empathy during one of the darkest moments of our lives. He explained every detail of the complex procedure with clarity and kindness, answering all our questions and helping us feel supported and informed. The surgery itself was nothing short of miraculous. Prof Plaha and his incredible team navigated an incredibly delicate and high-risk operation with skill and precision that can only come from years of experience and extraordinary dedication. Thanks to his exceptional talent, my mum not only survived — she began her path to recovery with strength and hope we feared we might never see again. Prof Plaha didn’t just operate on my mum’s brain; he gave her more time, and gave our family a second chance at life with her. He is truly a guardian angel in scrubs, and we will forever be grateful for his life-saving care. If you are ever in need of a neurosurgeon who combines brilliant surgical skill with a deeply human touch, Prof Plaha is the one you want by your side. He is more than a doctor — he is a healer in every sense of the word. With all our hearts, thank you.

Nobody really wants to see Prof as it is more than likely not something that you want to deal with or face. In my case it was a Brain tumor GBM... Prof Puneet is genuinely a caring person and does not treat you as a number, his Compassion is truely outstanding and during all 3 of my operations to date, he has kept my wife and brother fully up to speed on my progress and all relevant info(as requested by me) Prof always ensured I understood the risks of my operations and that I was comfortable with the options I was facing. The scar left on my head after the crainiotomy was nothing less than art. How such a big operation can have such a neat scar bewilds me. The only problem now... is I dont think I would be able to trust a different surgeon to operate on me given how skilled Puneet is. If you have a choice with who you see... Prof Puneet is the obvious choice.

At all times, we found Professor Plaha very professional and courteous. He took time to explain everything clearly during our various visits to see him. At the Hospital, before the operation and afterwards, Professor Plaha and his team took time to explain everything and kept in touch to see if they could do anything further. Excellent team.
