I was apprehensive about rehab re alcohol dependency after a negative experience in a different clinic 5 years ago....but I needn't have worried as soon as I had my assessments with Colin Jones (therapist) and Dr Fafiolu ( Consultant ) I knew I'd made the right choice .I completed my treatment on 25th March 

It is such a caring ,compassionate,positive and safe environment  and you know that every single member of staff wants the best for you and for you to get better.
The staff are all absolutely amazing and that includes Consultant, therapists,Holbrook ward team,housekeeping team and kitchen staff oh and not forgetting the admin & reception teams.

It felt like my home for the 28 days and the patients and staff like extended family! 
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Bristol Priory to anyone that needed help with an addiction .

Dr Annique was brilliant. She let me get out what I wanted to say and promopted me to think about what I was feeling in relation to what I was saying. I found her to be extremely personable and easy to talk to. She also guided my recovery by suggesting breathing techniques and mindfulness practices, all of which I will continue to practice. 
My experience with her was a great and I can't thank her enough for her time.

Monika is incredibly warm and patient, and gives an impression of unconditional compassion and belief in one's potential. Having this energy reflected at me on a weekly basis was truly healing in itself.

I also appreciate how dynamic and adaptive her therapeutic style is. We often shifted between brainspotting, EMDR, visualisation and talking therapy techniques, and Monika was always attuned to what would be most powerful at any given moment.
