Both the consultation process and the procedure to remove my gallbladder with Dr Yip have been absolutely excellent. I met Dr Yip after an MRI/MCP scan where I found out I had a sizeable gallstone. His advise was phenomenal and we initially planned a procedure around my work/family schedule. Unfortunately everything got accelerated as I got admitted in A&E with massive stomach pain. I was in the Chelsea & Westminster hospital for 5 days with pain management and simultaneously Dr Yip was accessing the tests and scans that A&E doctors were doing to me. Following great advice from Dr Yip, we advance the procedure so that I soon as I got discharged from A&E we had everything booked at the Princess Grace Hospital to do the procedure. Dr Yip was always very attentive, he was detailed on his explanations and clear outlining the potential minor risks. The procedure went very well and Dr Yip was closely following the evolution and my recovery right after it. Overall a great experience with Dr Yip and fully recommended.

From the moment I met Mr Yip in October 2025, through my surgery and on-going healing journey, Mr Yip has been nothing but professional, supportive, and kind - not only to me, but to my family as well. His responsibility and care for his patients is second to none. I am yet to meet a more committed and dedicated consultant/surgeon as Mr Yip. His team at The Princess Grace Hospital are also a special bunch; I could not have been in better hands during the scariest and most stressful time in my life thus far. I am forever grateful for all the hard wok and effort put into my care.

Mr Yip is the most exceptional surgeon I have ever come across. Incredibly caring, very thorough in his investigations to rigorously diagnose the issue. He always takes the time to explain everything carefully and simply for a patient to understand. Mr Yip successfully resolved my gallstone issue with surgery, which was done meticulously, the stitches were so carefully done and I felt virtually no discomfort as a result of Mr Yip’s delicate hands for operating. After surgery was also exceptional and Mr Yip was kind enough to check on me with calls in the evening to monitor my state in the days following discharge. I fully endorse Mr Yip as one of the great surgeons in the field. He also has a very well organised and proactive assistant.

I had my gallbladder surgery with Mr. Yip, and he was exceptionally professional throughout. He explained the procedure, potential outcomes, and risks very clearly, making sure I fully understood everything. Although I initially had fears and second thoughts, he reassured me with data, clear explanations, and his evident expertise. Mr. Yip is not only an expert surgeon in his field but also very compassionate — he truly made me feel heard and supported. Even after I was discharged, whenever I had concerns about my post-surgical symptoms, he and his team patiently reassured me and provided guidance. I highly recommend Mr. Yip to anyone looking for an outstanding and caring surgeon in London!

In my dealings with Mr Yip he was the consummate professional whilst at the same time being patient, approachable and friendly. He explained everything in detail and made time for questions. His technical surgical expertise made possible a procedure that had appeared likely not to be possible and which resulted in a less invasive surgical outcome. His follow-up was wholly consistent with the excellence of our pre-surgical interaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Yip and count myself as very fortunate to have been under his care.

From our very first conversation to my final post-op checkup, Mr Yip was nothing short of outstanding. He consistently placed my well-being at the centre of every step, making me feel heard, reassured, and genuinely included throughout the entire process. His professionalism was matched only by his warmth and empathy I felt completely cared for from beginning to end.
