I attended a consultation with Mr Mudussar Ahmad last week regarding the excruciating pain in my left knee which made walking very difficult. Mr Ahmad was superb. He was very patient, empathetic and very professional. He examined my knee, leg and hips and immediately diagnosed an effusion in the knee. This was evidenced by x-ray and an Mri scan. He aspirated and injected the knee which gave me instant relief. I have subsequently been able to return to my love of walking. I would highly recommend Mr Ahmad .

Excellent first class no pain and recovery with in a few days, Cope Nurses could not believe I was the patient when they visited. This operation as per my previous hip replacement by the same Surgeon has not caused me any problems, back swimming most morning’s and living life to the full. The service I received could not have been better thank you.

My experience of having a total hip replacement by Mr. Mudussar Abrar Ahmad was very good. He took the time to sympathetically explain every aspect of the surgery and the possible outcomes clearly. I felt confident my operation was being carried out by an experienced professional surgeon. I have not been disappointed with the outcome. Healing has been rapid and without complications. I have yet to build sufficient muscle strength to improve my walking and Mr. Ahmad has reassured me this will improve as I continue to exercise and practice walking.

I received excellent patient care and treatment from Mr Madussar Abrar Ahmad, making sure my very painful condition is treated properly and promptly, using his expert professional knowledge and skills to the best of his ability. While maintaining a positive doctor-patient relationship, he built the trust and connection with me by listening to my long story of the pain I was going through without interruption. He showed genuine interest in my health condition. He also made me feel that I am heard. After my explanation, I realised that he had attentively listened to every word I said, because of the manner in which he communicated my current condition in a very effective and honest way. He had the ability to communicate very clearly, precisely with genuine concern about my condition. Within the first 5-10 minutes, I was very impressed with his positive professional care as a doctor which was maintained to the highest level. (Subsequently, I upset a lot of the other doctors in his team by saying I want to be seen only by Mr Ahmad.) He advised me that there will be a measurable difference in my health if, I change my current job due to 8-9hrs of standing. - He ordered an MRI; - Informed me that both my knees and my lower back was wasted; - Showed me pictures of my Arthritis being significant; - Referred me for Physiotherapy; - Discussed in detail the relevant medical care; - Subsequently sent me for the PRP injections which had a 90% relief for about 6-8 months. He has definitely mastered the art of leading a productive conversation, being an active listener and convincing that the treatment he suggests will be successful. He proved it right for sure. A big thank you to him from me. I would take this opportunity to say that I was very impressed. His courteous, kind, positive and encouraging words displayed his duty of primary care as a doctor.
