Dr Mumin Noor is a Consultant Cardiologist at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust. He gained his undergraduate medical degrees at Imperial College London and Cardiff University. He then completed general medical training in both tertiary and district hospitals in London.
Following a period of research at Harefield Hospital, he completed his cardiology training in the North West Thames rotation (London Deanery). His sub-speciality training was in Heart Failure and Complex Cardiac Devices at the Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital and Harefield Hospital.
Research interests
Dr Mumin Noor was awarded a Clinical Research Fellowship at the prestigious Harefield Hospital Transplant Unit in 2010. He gained Medical Doctorate research degree (MD Res) studying advance heart failure and mechanical circulatory support at the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI), Imperial College London.
His current clinical research interests include cardiac device therapy in heart failure patients.

He has recently co-authored a chapter titled ‘Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy for Heart Failure' in a textbook published by Springer Publishing.
Teaching
Dr Mumin Noor has an interest in medical education and regularly trains undergraduate medical students. He is also an examiner for Imperial College Medical School OSCE tests.
He has been teaching the Harefield Hospital PACES courses since 2013.
