I was very fortunate to have my hip replacement operation by Professor Field on the 21.06.23. Preoperational experience was very good and explanation of what to expect before and after the operation very informative. Reassurance and guidance during professor weekly calls after operation made a big difference for my recovery. It is only 2 weeks after operation and I could already walk at home without the crutches, also I could walk upstairs without them! The scar is very neat and much smaller than I expected. Thank you very much for the fantastic operation Professor Field!

On my initial meeting I was impressed on how at ease he made me feel. The explanation of my forthcoming hip operation was explained and any queries were immediately dealt with. He has a very nice 'bedside manner' and he followed up on my recovery. My treatment by the Professor and all those working with him was exceptional.

I was very pleased with my surgery and recovery after my hip surgery with Prof Field. He explained everything to me and was very charming. A much better experience than I originally expected.

Excellent - very capable and reassurinmg

Just had my left hip replacement on the 8th February 2023 and the surgery with Prof fields was first class. Very little swelling, bruising and after three days off any pain killers. Light years ahead of when I had my other hip done 18 months previous at some where else. I am absolutely delighted and this anterior method is the way to have your hip replaced.

Professor Field is an exceptional person. Not only was I treated with great kindness, given clear explanations of options and the operation procedures but also I had asked if I could have a photograph of the femoral head he had it taken ..and that was after a long day. The after care involving filling in a daily app is an incentive to keep exercising! I will be reviewed in 6 months. I feel I am very fortunate to have met Professor Field and am so grateful to be free of hideous pain. I could have done with a second night in hospital as the stronger pain relief given made me vomit and therefore there was no benefit from it.
