Mr Yousufuddin Shaik

Mr. Yousufuddin Shaik is a highly regarded Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Birmingham and Brighton, specialising in conditions such as ankle instability, bunions, arthritis, flat feet, Achilles tendon disorders, and minimal-access (keyhole) surgery. He provides care both privately, as a co-founding member and leader at Pinnacle Global Healthcare, and through his work with the NHS at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.

With extensive experience in complex lower limb conditions affecting the knee, foot, and ankle, Mr. Shaik is frequently sought after for second opinions and in cases of failed surgeries. His personalised and empathetic approach allows him to carefully understand his patients' symptoms and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring their quality of life.

Mr. Shaik earned his medical degree from Deccan College of Medical Science, India, in 2000, before moving to the UK for advanced surgical training. He completed his basic surgical training in Scotland, followed by further orthopaedic training in Oswestry and at University Hospital Birmingham. He also holds a Master’s degree in Orthopaedics (ChM) from the University of Edinburgh and has completed fellowships recognised by the British Orthopaedic Association.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Shaik is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and holds Level 7 certification in Leadership and Strategic Management. He is an active member of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS), and the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland (MDDUS). His contributions to orthopaedic research have been published in respected peer-reviewed journals, and he regularly participates in global medical conferences to stay at the forefront of advancements in his field.
