From my first consultation, right through to my review after the operation Mr Shah was brilliant. He was a professional, knowledgeable and put me at ease right away. My hip operation was very successful, Mr Shah did a very good job on me and after committing myself to my physio, I was very quickly mobile and pain free. All staff at Spire were amazing. I had high tibial osteotomy knee surgery performed by Mr Amit Shah at the Spire Hospital Blackpool in May 2023, Mr Shah is a brilliant surgeon and the procedure has been a huge success for me, and it has prevented me having a full knee replacement. One year on I am now walking around 12/15 K a day with my dog, previously it would have only been around 3K and then the pain would get to much for me, I would encourage anyone who is offered this as an alternative to a new Knee to go for it, the future benefits are well worth it 👍.

Mr Yassa explained what occurred in my op then examined me and checked what movement I had in my knee He then checked my other knee and offered me injections with a review in a couple of months plus he sent me for xrays Very pleased with my appointment

From my initial consultation with Mr. Palan to my discharge I felt confident in his ability to complete my surgery safely. He presented as knowledgeable describing all aspects of the process not just in terms of the surgery but also what could and would be achieved in the future once I had healed. I found him to be pleasant and reassuring. He also listened to me. I never felt like a number but was always treated with respect and kindness .
