I recently underwent surgery for an island flap reconstruction around a lesion site on my lower left leg, as well as a sentinel lymph node biopsy in my left groin. I am pleased to share my experience and provide a review of the procedure. My experience with the island flap reconstruction and sentinel lymph node biopsy was positive, and I am grateful for the expertise of Mr Damir Kosutic and the surgical team, my recovery is going very well. Mr Kosutic is a detailed surgeon and explains everything in an easy to digest manner, putting you at ease straight away. I am happy with my overall experience.

You know you are in good hands from the moment you first meet Mr Nanidis. I was extremely nervous about having DIEP surgery but he puts you at ease, explains the procedure very well and has an excellent bedside manner. He also checks on you often straight after the surgery and through the follow ups. Amazingly I didn't have to have drains and the quality and neatness of the surgery is exceptional. My experience with Mr Khatib has been fantastic. I immediately felt at ease with him and he was so caring and kind throughout the whole process. I was home the same afternoon which meant I was able to rest and recover properly in my own surroundings which I feel has helped so much for a smooth recovery. I had a very good experience with Mr Harris and his team. I was quite anxious about the procedure but from my first consultation I knew I was in good hands. I was treated with sensitivity and kindness and every step of the way was thoroughly explained. The consultations never felt rushed, and all questions answered at length. The nursing team working alongside Mr Harris were incredible and made me feel comfortable and at ease the whole time. I want to say how happy I am with the results of my breast reduction, which was performed by Mr Ghali and his Team in early April of this year. I knew from my initial consultation with Mr Ghali that I had found the perfect surgeon to perform this procedure. He immediately put my mind at ease, by firstly confirming that I did need this reduction, because this had been something I had been considering for years. Then I really appreciated how he included my family in the discussions and allowed for them to ask any questions, and no question was a 'silly question'. I also appreciated Mr Ghali offering to see me as many times as possible if I need additional reassurance or further questions to be answered. And I would always get quick responses from his PA, Emma. The attention to detail on the day of the surgery made me feel even more relaxed and confident in Mr Ghali's ability to do what I had asked for and he had promised to deliver. The aftercare from the staff over the time in hospital was so good. Mr Ghali came the next day to do a follow-up prior to discharging me and I knew I was going home with a smile on my face. I must say the pain levels for me were quite minimal, so that added to my happiness. My follow-up appointment a week later was again very reassuring again allowing for all questions to be answered, I would highly recommend Mr Ghali to anyone who is considering this type of surgery, and can definitely say you will not regret making that decision.

Dr Erel was the second dr I had a consultation with when going for my chin lipo. When I met Dr Erel I felt so much more at ease than the other dr I spoke to from another team in central london. I knew I was in the right place. I am now 6 weeks post op and I do not regret my decision. Dr Erel was very transparent with the procedure and told me not to worry as he would make sure I am not scared during the procedure. During the procedure Dr Erel and his team had some background music playing and Dr Erel even sang a few lyrics, all of this helped towards making sure I was not anxious and it truly worked. I am happy with my results and I can see the difference, however it is not a crazy difference where people have noticed, rather it is a subtle change which had greatly enhanced my confidence. The nurses were also very kind and supportive during my short stay. I felt very cared for. The receptionist are also always easy to get ahold of and dedicated a lot of time to any queries I had.
