I came to see Tatjana, I find her very compassionate and friendly.

Friendly and efficient dentist but the temporary crown fell off the following day. I was only eating soup! So I need to have another appointment to fix it as there are 2 weeks to go until my final crown is ready.

Initially anxious regarding an implant procedure with Mr Erickson; l was delighted with the way l was sympathetically treated and the high level of expert dental care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the South Coast Dental Practice to anyone considering treatment. Julia

A pleasant experience overall Thank you

My experience at the centre was pleasant. Staff were very polite and helpful.

I attended for a wisdom tooth removal, deep gum clean and Ameloplasty. A process I was not looking forward to at all. However, I found the whole process from initial examination, report and recommendations, professional, informative and reassuring. The treatment was expertly carried out and ,considering what was being undertaken, pretty pain-free with any "twinges" immediately dealt with. Two days later, I am comfortable and pain-free.

After my treatment, I made an appointment for my next visit. I was asked to pay a £10 deposit. I explained that I paid monthly for my treatment, I have been a patient for nearly forty years and that I had never missed an appointment. The receptionist insisted that the deposit was to discourage patients skipping appointments and would be deducted from the cost of my next treatment. This doesn’t make sense. My next treatment may not have any costs attached, since I am already paying on a monthly plan. Over the last few years my problem has been getting an appointment, not skipping them. I don’t remember getting any refunds during periods of non-treatment. If a policy like this is being introduced patients should surely be informed in advance. The girl in front of me was charged a deposit of £60, which I doubt she was expecting. I don’t even know now what my plan does or does not cover. I will be looking for a new dentist as soon as possible.
