I’ve had a nut allergy all my life but recently had more frequent allergic reactions that included my tongue and throat swelling - without having eaten nuts. I was worried about how to keep safe and what was happening. With a 12-18 month nhs wait I decided to get advice from Dr Bakshi as my life was being seriously restricted. The clinic setting in Nottingham was lovely, appointment was possible within a week and a diagnosis was made. A treatment plan was emailed that day to my GP and prescriptions filled the very next day. The comprehensive allergy blood test was really enlightening. Dr Bakshi is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain what is happening with my allergy and the new issues I’ve been experiencing. As a side note, his blood taking deserves an award…after a painful attempt at blood taking in hospital, I was skeptical of a Dr doing his own bloods - but I literally didn’t even know he had done it. Would 100% recommend Dr Bakshi if your allergy is impacting your life. It’s a complex subject, explained in a straightforward way, which has given me confidence again. Thank you!

Dr Jacobs is very welcoming and reassuring. He spoke to my daughter to understand things from her perspective and made her feel very involved in her consultation. He is amazing with children and was very thorough. He was keen to find out how my daughter was doing the next day and called to see how she got on at school. Dr Benjamin was also the same with my son in previous appointments and his care and concern for his patients really does comes across.

I was referred to Mr Hawary with a suspicious lump which I was extremely worried by. I felt reassured from the first consultation where the likely cause and the follow up actions were explained and discussed clearly. He is friendly, caring and respectful which made the examination process dignified. I also had some specific pressures on timescale (including a booked holiday within weeks) that I did not think could be accommodated. However, I extremely grateful for him being able to take the initiative in moving arrangements (included a small operation on his private list) within the constraints, which enabled me to enjoy my holiday without worry.

Mr Muir has a great bedside manner, he explained clearly and thoroughly what was happening and was incredibly helpful
