Very professional and efficient I would recommend Miss Hazlerigg to anyone.
Ms Hazelrigg was very professional approachable and friendly. She explained the procedure I had in great understandable detail, and will continue to review at regular intervals
I was referred to Alex. Hazlerigg for a trapeziectomy on my left thumb in September 2025. I had a trapeziectomy on my the right thumb in 2018 which took over a year to recover from. This time, although the initial recovery was more painful, I have recovered the use of my thumb very quickly and am delighted by the result. The pain from an arthritic trapezium bone is extreme and having the pain free use back so quickly is wonderful. Ms. Hazlerigg was superb at explaining her methods and how I would be affected and her after care was an example of the fact that that she was concerned with my welfare. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any hand operation and in fact have recommended her to colleagues with similar problems.
Everything was explained to me and I felt very comfortable.
My consultation went very well and all future options were discussed and agreed. Everything was explained very clearly to me resulting in the outcome I had hoped for going forward.
After a full consultation a MRI and. Deep nerve study were arranged. At a follow up consultation today with Miss Hazlerigg she fully explained the results of the two tests. I felt she fully listened at all times to my issues and dealt with them as quickly as the NHS system allowed. She gave me great confidence in the system and herself
From the first time I met Ms Hazlerigg I felt confident and secure in her care. She took to to explain the procedure to me and I felt she was open and honest about risks. On the day of the operation she was professional but approachable and I again felt safe in her care. I choose to have the 2nd operation with her. PS other hospital staff were very complimentary about her.
Miss Hazlerigg is well renowned for being thorough, caring and a clear communicator. I happily recommend her to friends and family. It is my pleasure to endorse Miss Hazlerigg.
