Met with Dr Andy Badcock for the first time today with my older teenager for asthma review. My daughter has a long medical history which he listened to with patience and interest. He had a very friendly manner and his style of communication with my daughter was good. She has met a number of paediatricians over the years and is not always keen to speak up but was comfortable asking questions of him. Agreed to some blood tests and they were carried out quickly with no hanging around. We came away from the appointment feeling optimistic that Dr Badcock had come up with a diagnosis and a better management plan than we have at the moment.

Saw Dr Badcock for my daughter’s recurrent fever issues. He listened to us, acknowledged every details, examined her thoroughly, and explained all the possible reasons which he ruled out behind her illness in depth and detail. Management discussion was thorough and as per the situation’s need. It was really reassuring and satisfying for us parents.

My daughter felt listened to and reassured that her symptoms are not serious. But also not stress related or nothing to be dismissed without diagnosis.

We recently visited Dr Andrew at the Bristol Paediatric Clinic for support with our son, who had been struggling with eating and transitioning to solid foods. From the beginning, the experience was extremely positive. Dr Andrew was not only knowledgeable but also very clear and straightforward in his approach, which made us feel confident and well supported. He took the time to understand our son’s specific challenges and provided practical, actionable guidance that immediately made a difference. His explanations were easy to follow, and the advice he shared was both realistic and tailored to our situation. We left the appointment feeling reassured, empowered, and finally on the right track.
