Have always found oncology staff and consultants very helpful, and always explain things well.

Dr Lynskey listens carefully,gives clear explanations of results and is very thorough. She takes the time to answer questions fully. Dr Lynskey puts patient welfare at the heart of her consultations. I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Dr Lynskey.

My Review was a pre-arranged telephone appointment (my third in a series) with Dr.Lynskey, and I have always carried out preparatory work before a review in order to be time-efficient. Dr.Lynskey listens well and has a pleasingly relaxed way in conversation, leading to clear, agreed actions.

When there was uncertainty after diagnosis, I was soon put at ease after meeting my Consultant Dr Deirdre Lynskey. Her gentle, warm manner was a huge comfort. With great communication skills, when questions were asked they were answered with clarity, always open to discussing options and alternatives regarding treatment . Appreciating her holistic approach, gently guiding , but also accepting of my personal preferences. Dr Lynskey possesses many highly valuable skills , the ability to listen, displaying empathy without being patronising and treating each patient with respect, creating a much needed supportive lifeline. I will be forever grateful that this wonderful human is my Consultant

All my appointments were on time, the staff were lovely and reassuring and told me what to expect after my treatment. The treatment worked and within a couple of days my congestion was gone - brilliant.
