About Miss Shree Datta
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Miss Shree Datta has more than 20 years of experience in the field and as well as her NHS trust, is based at The Lister Hospital, The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, and 25 Harley Street. Her main interests are abnormal periods, fibroids, cervical screening, the menopause, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and pregnancy care (including delivery). She is renowned in her field for her personal and friendly approach to patient care.
Miss Datta is involved in research and has received the Helen Lawson award for her work on ovarian cancer and the Arthur Macey scholarship for her research into saphenous vein grafting. Furthermore, she has co-authored three medical textbooks and contributes regularly to Mother and Baby magazine. She is also a co-author of Time for Training for the Secretary of State (2009).
Miss Datta has been the lead investigator for a study on Fibroids and Embolisation or Myomectomy to Measure the Effect on quality of life among women, or "FEMME". She is renowned in her field and has been involved in teaching courses internationally. She is also a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
