Mr Sameer Trikha graduated in medicine in 2004 from The University of Southampton. He is a MBA-qualified Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in glaucoma and cataract surgery, working both in the NHS at Kings College Hospital and privately at 23 Harley Street, The London Clinic Eye Centre (119 Harley Street), The Guthrie Private Clinic (King's College Hospital) and The Circle Hospital Chertsey, Surrey.
Mr Trikha has a specialist interest in the surgical treatment of glaucoma, and the use of innovative new devices that are minimally invasive. He is active in the field of research, having published 25 papers and written 2 books, and is regularly invited to give international lectures. Furthermore, he is passionate about digital health and its role in the education of junior specialist doctors.

My experience with Mr Trikha at the Runnymede, has been amazing and absolutely life changing. From the moment I met him at my initial consultation, he was reassuring, explained all of my options for cataract surgery extremely well and professionally and he certainly knows exactly what he is doing. I had double cataract surgery and I was so frightened initially, but there was no need to feel like that. The whole process was wonderful and all of the staff involved at The Runnymede Hospital, were just wonderful, friendly and caring. I felt like I was their only patient, with the way they dealt with me. I have had my life changed now with my new eyes!!! I am so happy again and feel that a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone and I have to say to anyone that is going to have cataract surgery, performed by Mr Trikha, and at the Runnymede, DO NOT BE SCARED as you are in the best hands !!!!! The professional was able to quickly diagnose the issue; however, the prescription provided was not adequate for purchasing the medication. It was written in a way that was difficult to understand, and several pharmacies refused to sell the medication due to the lack of clarity regarding the type of treatment prescribed. Given the high cost of the consultation, I believe the prescription should have at least been issued through the proper system to avoid such issues.

Mr Trikha was very patient and explained the procedures and the reasons for doing them very thoroughly. The procedures were a cataract removal and the insertion of an i-stent. He also explained all options that we could understand easily.
