He took time to explain the pros and cons of bunion surgery to me

Timothy looked at my MRI results, and my foot, and explained what the problem was, and how we could deal with it. He explained everything in layman’s terms, which put me at ease, and made me feel more comfortable about my diagnosis.

Excellent surgeon but not enough information during consultation. Second consultation felt rushed and understanding of the recovery process was not accurately explained. Also some differences on the letters to what was discussed in clinic. For example advised to fully weightbear without appliance at home in clinic. Letter stated appliance to be worn when weightbearing.

Tim clearly explained his initial diagnosis and gave his recommendation for next steps. He pulled strings to get my scan and operation organised as soon as possible which was greatly apppreciated.

A very knowledgeable specialist that was welcoming and put me at ease straight away. Offered me a comprehensive treatment plan and follow up consultation. Thorough in his approach and I left feeling like I had received excellent care

Mr Clough was excellent, I cannot recommend him highly enough. I went to him as a second opinion and he explained that whilst conservative treatment of my ruptured Achilles may work, it was not the optimal treatment for the level of my Achilles tear and my activity level. He advised that surgery would be better and explained why this would be, what the surgery would entail, and what the recovery process would look like. I felt fully informed throughout the entire process and felt confident in his abilities throughout. Anne, his PA, was excellent. Mr Clough was fully booked for 4 weeks but she managed to find a gap in his diary to see me. I met Anne in his surgery and she was incredibly warm and reassuring. She kept me fully informed about the process and any appointments I had, even answering emails on Friday evening to make sure I understood the process. The length of time from my initial consultation with him to my surgery was 4 days - I could not ask for better treatment or a better team.
